Plataforma Distribuida para la Realización de Prácticas de Robótica Móvil a través de Internet
This paper presents a distributed platform that allows the students to access the available robots in the laboratory through Internet. With this platform, a remote environment is created so that the students are able to carry out several experiments using the laboratory equipment and with time flexibility. In this way, the users can create basic reactive control and collaborative robotics algorithms and test them on actual robotic platforms. The system is presently being used by engineering students in their labs on mobile robotics. The students can test the algorithms designed on real equipment and can access all the services provided by the robots. At the same time, the platform takes advantage of all the potentialities of the learning process using Internet.
